True consecration means welcoming Mary, whom Christ on the cross gave us as our mother, in the order of grace, in the person of the beloved disciple. Welcoming Mary as Mother it is a commitment to Jesus. Thus, the consecrated person, welcomed into the heart of Mary, will experience an intimate and direct relationship with her in prayer, as an instrument in her hands, seeking to live her virtues.
